About
Funded by the American Heart Association, The SPH Heart Scholars program is a highly selective and intensive 10-week research program that provides undergraduate students at Indiana University an opportunity to work with a faculty sponsor on research related to cardiovascular health. The 10-week program takes place during the fall semester and culminates in submission to present the results of the work at a national scientific conference and the School of Public Health’s Student Research Day. SPH Heart Scholars receive a stipend of $3,000 and up to $1,500 to use for research expenses and travel to a conference to present research findings.
